A Force.

Meghan was a force - bright, driven, and deeply kind. She achieved everything she set her mind to: straight A’s, first chair French horn, a Master’s degree—yet what truly set her apart was her heart. She donated her hair to Locks of Love three times as a young girl and celebrated others’ successes as if they were her own. Her spirit lit up the room, made countless friendships, and continues to inspire people even today. Meghan's Foundation is a perfect way to continue her goodness.

After losing Meghan, gratitude was a word I struggled with. I felt deeply saddened because I thought no one else would ever have the opportunity to get to know this amazing young woman who was my daughter. Now, although the loss of her physical presence is still great, I have come to realize her beautiful spirit, kind heart, compassion for others, and positive outlook will continue to live on through her foundation. Along with the activities we do to honor Meghan and the stories we share about her, she is being introduced to new people, and she continues to be a positive force in the lives of others. I am truly grateful to all who support Meghan’s legacy through their actions and their donations.

I’m not usually one for many words, but being part of this foundation means a lot to me. My sister had a way of making people feel seen and supported, especially young people. Even though she’s no longer with us, the impact she made still echoes in so many lives. I’m proud to quietly carry on her goodness in my own way and doing what I can to support the mission she cared so deeply about. It’s an honor to help build something that reflects her heart and continues her work in the communities she loved.

Meghan's younger (bigger) brother. Meghan was the best sister I could have ever asked for. I looked up to her in so many ways and I didn't realize some of them until after she was gone. She was someone I could go to with anything and always get an honest answer and she made sure to keep me in line when I started to get too big of a head. I miss her more than words can describe. I am so proud of what her foundation has been able to accomplish and can't wait to see how big of an impact we can make in her honor. I love you Meghan.

I met Meghan when I started dating her brother, Ben, and although my time with her was tragically short, the impact she left was immense. During her courageous battle with cancer, I never once heard her complain, express anger, or falter in hope, qualities that make her resilience all the more remarkable. Describing Meghan to people feels impossible, as words can barely capture her warmth, brilliance, and inspiring spirit. She was a true light in the lives of everyone she touched. This foundation exists to carry forward her dreams of supporting young girls, children in need, and environmental issues, and we are committed to honoring her legacy by bringing those dreams to life.

Meghan was a true muse of my life. From the moment I met her I knew there was something special about her. She was the source of my inspiration to pursue my Master’s degree. She showed me how to perfectly pair responsibility with living life to the fullest. Because of her I re-discovered my passion for giving back to my local community and championing causes close to me.

The biggest impact was how Meghan taught me what true grace was during the toughest challenge for both of our lives - her battle with cancer. Not only did she finish her own Master’s during that time, we also adopted our first dog Sevro together, and she silently showed me what it meant to be a parent. She never faltered in her unwavering commitment and love given to her family both near and far, human and furry.

I remain inspired by her and the impact she has had on everyone in her life. I cannot express how much I love continuing on the work and helping bring her light to those she aimed to help her entire life.
